sulphate build-up
Sulphate
build-up occurs in the form of lead sulphate crystals on the battery plates
during the normal charge/discharge cycles. During this process, some of
the sulphates enlarge to the point where they can't accept energy so
they stay on the plate. Over time these sulphate crystals can build-up until
efficiency is reduced and the battery dies. This process is the main
reason for over 80% of all battery problems and failures.

Lead sulphate is a natural by-product of battery operation and if not
treated, it will slowly and continuously reduce battery capacity,
increase electrical resistance, reduce the operating voltage, and
ultimately cause the battery to fail.
does "pulse"
and "equalization" charging really help?
Standard "pulse" or "equalization charging"
technologies used in all other reconditioning devices work on one of the
following principals: in "pulse" technology high-tension current
impulses are produced at infrequent intervals of time during charging
process and in "equalization charging" technology peak charging voltage
is simply raised.
Battery users believe they can reverse sulphate build-up by "pulse" or
"equalization" charging. It is possible that, depending on crystal
particle size, some of lead sulphate is converted to sulphuric acid, but
probably most of the "benefit" comes from the physical separation of the
crystalline coating due to the vigorous gassing which occurs at such
elevated voltages. Fresh plate surface is exposed at the expense of
losing active material which simply falls to the bottom of the cell.
Battery temperature increases dramatically during equalization charging.
During pulse charging plates are getting stressed and as the result they
can simply be ripped apart by high-tension current impulses. The higher
charging temperature increases positive grid corrosion, water loss
through gassing (the electrical conversion of water to hydrogen and
oxygen, which can re-combine violently causing an explosion), and
sulphuric acid "misting" which, in turn, causes terminal corrosion. All
of these phenomena reduce battery life significantly.
new
"battery power" technology
The type of charging units commonly spread
today is limited to only units that
will charge your battery up. While you use your battery the only thing
you do to keep it running is discharging it and charging it up again and
this process leads to sulphate building up on the battery plates, there
is a third component to the process which will help you use your battery
longer and make it more efficient so you will be better off financially and the
world will be better off in terms of the cleaner environment. The third
part to this process is preventative maintenance, rejuvenation,
restoration & reanimation devices which help us to break up these sulphate crystals
and transform them back into active lead mass on the plates enabling superior performance and longevity for your batteries.
The technology "Battery Power" possesses was developed in theory in year
2000; in 2002 this technology was patented and implemented in real life.
The technology is called “Resonance-Ionic”, it doesn’t have analogues in
the world and it is protected by international patents.
Our equipment is specifically designed and build based on this
unique technology and it allows us to resolve almost any battery problems you
might experience including shorted cells and even reversed polarity.
If the battery is diagnosed with the short circuited plates it means
there is an oversized sulphate build-up which creates a bridge between
plates causing the cell to short circuit. This bridge is removed by our
equipment during the restoration process and
sulphate crystals are transformed back into active lead mass and the
battery will be restored.
Standard "pulse" or "equalization" charging technologies used in all other reconditioning devices will
not help in such cases and will not give such high quality results, it
will only give your battery a short term boost and will damage the
plates which will lead to a rather fast death of the battery. At
"Battery Power" we can achieve high quality restoration results
enabling superior performance and longevity of your batteries,
increasing charge holding capacity close to its factory state and also
increasing the lifespan of your batteries up to 4 times.
We are able to do preventative maintenance, full
recovery, restore & rejuvenate and even reanimate your lead acid
& gel,
starting, traction & stationary, heavy duty & deep cycle, marine & automotive
batteries, powerful battery banks.
Sulphate build-up process can also be prevented if preventative
maintenance & restoration equipment is used on the regular basis which
allows you to use the batteries at its maximum efficiency during their
lifespan. By eliminating or reversing sulphate with “Battery Power”
technology, thousands of dollars can be saved in electrical system
maintenance, battery replacement and energy costs, as well as the amount
of working capital tied up in batteries. Moreover, staff and equipment
productivity can improve dramatically.
The only batteries that are not suitable for recovery are the batteries
that have worked out its natural resource where the plates are
deteriorated and the batteries that have internal or external mechanical
damage.
idea behind our technology
The idea behind
our technology is that very fast impulses are created
by the special device; the speed of the impulses is measured in
nanoseconds (very very small periods of time) that allows the device to
use 1000A currents to charge the batteries. The technology is called
"Resonance-Ionic" for a reason; the impulses generated by the device are
in the same frequency as lead sulphate crystals which allows us to break
down these crystals very effectively without damaging the battery plates
or losing active crystalline material;
then the "ionic" part kicks in, ionic current generated by the device
creates a reaction which transforms broken down sulphate crystals into
an active lead mass.
As a result:
▪ Sulphate crystals are transformed back into an active lead mass on the
plates;
▪ Carbon is removed from the plates and dissolved in the acid;
▪ The efficiency of the normal charging process is increased (less power
and time required to charge the battery after it’s been serviced)
